Environmental Policy Statement

The DeliveryCo is a national warehousing and transportation operation committed to promoting a positive environmental culture for the benefit of current and future generations and to the management of our operations in a way that is both environmentally sustainable and economically feasible.

To establish the potential effect our business may have on the environment and to provide a framework for setting our environmental objectives and targets for the future, we will assess the environmental aspects and impacts that may be derived from our activities and where necessary determine necessary actions to improve our overall performance.

As a responsible operator we will:

• comply with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, licences and other requirements that apply to our activities, products and services

• identify, reduce and dispose of waste arising from our operations in a manner that minimises harm to the environment

• reduce the consumption of fuel, energy and water wherever practicable, by introducing vehicles and equipment that is environmentally-friendly and fuel efficient

• use renewable and/or recyclable resources whenever possible

• encourage our suppliers and sub-contractors to implement good environmental practices and procedures which support our own objectives & targets

• consider environmental issues when making new investments and disposing of old assets

• provide awareness training for employees on relevant environmental issues

• ensure support and the availability of necessary resources to implement, maintain and develop our environmental management system in order to deliver continual improvement in our environmental performance

The DeliveryCo takes responsibility for the maintenance of the policy, which it reviews on an annual basis, in order to provide the framework for setting and reviewing objectives and targets for continuous environmental improvement.

To ensure the successful implementation of this policy and to promote a culture of responsibility for the environment, the DeliveryCo will encourage the commitment and participation of all employees within the business.
